DataCenter911 Terms of Use
Effective date: October 2026
These terms govern your use of datacenter911.com and the free ReadinessRoute Assessment (the "Service"), provided by DataCenter911 ("DataCenter911," "we," "us"). By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
1. Who may use the Service
The Service is for business and professional use by people at least 18 years old who are authorized to share the information they provide.
2. What the Service is
The ReadinessRoute Assessment is a free, self-guided, planning-level tool. It asks about your organization's facility and plans, and it produces on-screen reads and an emailed ReadinessRoute Snapshot. Results are directional and are based entirely on the information you provide, which we do not verify.
3. Not engineering or professional advice
The Service does not provide engineering, design, legal, financial, procurement or other professional advice. Results are not a capacity analysis, certification, code or compliance determination, or site assessment, and they are not a substitute for review by qualified professionals. Everything the Service produces is a starting point only. It must be verified by qualified professionals before it is relied on. Please do not commit capital, sign contracts or make facility changes in reliance on the results alone. You remain responsible for your own decisions.
4. AI-generated results
Results are generated with the help of artificial intelligence. They may be incomplete, inaccurate or out of date, and you must independently validate anything you rely on.
5. Your responsibilities
- Provide information that is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge. Results depend on your answers.
- Do not submit passwords, credentials, security-sensitive facility information or sensitive personal information, or information you are not permitted to share.
- Use the Service only for lawful and legitimate purposes.
6. Your submissions
You give DataCenter911 limited permission to process the information you submit to provide, maintain and secure the Service. We may use aggregated or de-identified information to improve the Service and our educational content. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled.
7. Your results
You may use your results internally within your organization and share them with your advisers. Please do not resell them or present them as an independent engineering opinion.
8. Our content and method
The website, the assessment questions, the method behind the results and the design of the Service belong to DataCenter911 or its licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended purpose. Please do not copy, scrape, reverse engineer, or build a competing service from it.
9. Acceptable use
Please do not misuse the Service. This includes attempting to access results or information that are not yours, interfering with the Service or its security, automated or bulk submissions, or submitting false or misleading information.
10. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties, such as form and email providers. Their services are governed by their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for them.
11. No warranty
The Service and all results are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, availability and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DataCenter911 and its owners and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or business opportunity, arising from your use of or reliance on the Service or its results. Because the Service is free, our total liability for any claim relating to it is limited to $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits, in which case the limits apply to the extent permitted.
13. Changes and ending use
We may change, suspend or discontinue the Service, or change these terms, at any time. The effective date above shows the latest version, and continued use after a change means you accept it. We may refuse or end access for misuse.
14. General
These terms, with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and DataCenter911 about the Service. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these terms; we may assign them in connection with a sale or reorganization of the business.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey.
